MIRACLES OR BONDAGE

As a Christian, I believe very much in miracles, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ performed diverse miracles during his earthly ministry and he also admonishes us that whosoever believes in him will do greater works than he.
Life is full of challenges and at some point we seek for solutions, I perfectly understand the part that we sort of become desperate and seek for solutions to our problems.
Although as a Christian, I believe I can pray my way through my problems/challenges to get solutions by following some tested principles of praying and receiving answers, I do not condemn others whose faith may not be as strong as mine.I also do not judge those that believe that the solution to their problems lie in the laying of hands.
Do not get me wrong, am not saying it doesn’t work that way.I am conversant with the diverse gifts given to men of God.
By the way, the man of God title has been abused, anyone and everyone who establishes a church these days calls himself man of God with or without the calling of God.That is a story for another day.
To the issue on ground, if you believe the solutions to your problems lies in the laying of hands, then who am I to judge or condemn you.
But, my concern is when an individual seeks for miracles to the extent of becoming gullible. Our so called believers have taken gullibility to a whole new level, Africans to be precise.

Some of us must have heard of “Pastor”Penuel Mnguni, of the End Times Ministries and how much abuse he has been subjecting his members to all in the name of miracles. He has been trending for weeks now, if he is not asking his congregation to eat grass, he will tell them to eat weaves or clothings

The recent being a snake, how on earth will a human seeing a live snake willingly open his mouth to eat  and testify that the snake tastes like chocolate, then you begin to wonder if they are in their right senses or have been hypnotised.

I am appalled at the way the man of God treats his members, riding them like donkeys, stepping on them and the list goes on.

I am even more awed at the gullibility or should I say helplessness of the members.
Do they have human rights organisations in South Africa at all?Can they petition this man?How can his members be liberated? These are some of the thoughts that goes through my head each time I think about this man.May God help his children.
